HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

WCJS RADIO FIRST ANNUAL BENEFIT CONCERT BENEFIT GHANAIAN MOTHERS HOPE AND INNOCENTS AT RISK – FEATURING 9 TIME GRAMMY and 2013 PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM WINNER – ARTURO SANDOVAL 

9 time Grammy, and 2013 Presidential Medal of Freedon Award winner, Arturo Sandoval, and an all star cast of performers will take center stage in support of  WCJS Radio’s first annual benefit concert. The event will take place Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 8 -11 pm, at Constitution Hall, 1776 D Street, N. W., Washington, DC  20006.  Ticket  prices are $25, $45, $60, and $75, and can be purchased at:

All proceeds from the concert will go to Ghanaian Mothers Hope – a non-profit that is working to build preschools, playgrounds, small clinics, and provides health education to children and their parents in Ghana; and, Innocents At Risk – a non-profit advocacy group that fights to abolish child sex trafficking and child abuse. The organization’s brochure titled, “Protecting Women and Children from Human Trafficking”, provides vital information on how to recognize and report the human trafficking that flight attendants see daily, and has saved thousands of young lives.
