Following a sold-out performance at Village Underground in 2023, double Latin Grammy nominee Marina Sena makes a welcomed return to the capital this summer for a headline show at London’s Jazz Café on Sunday 30th June. Combining samba with funk, carioca, trap, reggae and axé, Sena is a bold, innovative artist whose mesmerizing live shows have earned her acclaim around the world.
After releasing her debut album in 2021, De Primeira, Sena rapidly rose to fame in her native Brazil and has gone on to build a huge global fan base and regularly headlines major festivals and venues. In 2023, she released Vício Inerente featuring hit singles ‘Tudo Pra Amar Você’ and ‘Olho no Gato’, and was later named by GQ Portugal as “Brazil’s new musical phenomenon”.
Alongside her Latin Grammy nominations, Sena has won three Multishow Brazilian Music Awards for Revelation Artist Of The Year, Best Experimental Artist and Best Album.
