East Coast Jazz Revue will host its season opener, A Jazz Holiday, with the legendary jazz composer, pianist Ramsey Lewis and his quartet at the Greenville, NC Convention Center on Friday, January 15, 2016. Joining Mr. Lewis are Henry Johnson on guitar, Joshua Ramos on bass and Charles Heath IV on drums.
Pre-concert features include a rare jazz exhibit, 3-course dinner, and East Coast Jazz Revue’s tribute to “TomtheJazzman” Mallison, nationally celebrated jazz broadcaster and Greenville native.
Ramsey Lewis, a jazz icon with intergenerational appeal has a celebrated career receiving numerous awards:

▪ Seven gold records,
▪ 2006 Stellar Award for Best Gospel Instrumental Album, “With One Voice”, and
