(New York, NY) – Nu Jazz Agency has just announced that founder & Managing Director Jerald Miller will be leading and moderating a discussion entitled: Creating a Stronger Digital Business Model in Jazz on Friday, April 24th, 2015 for the Jazzahead! music conference to be held in Bremen, Germany at the Bremen Exhibition Center, as part of the (3) European Jazz Expo.
The discussion, will primarily focus on how to strengthen digital business practices in Jazz, and share some of the best practices evolved from years of development in the industry. From the integration of social media platforms to utilizing social media as potential sales instigators. From developing digital advertising budgets to creating branded digital sales channels. From creating interest in new recordings to reinvigorating catalog sales and reinvent deep catalog content across the digital hemisphere. “For some time now the jazz music conferences have neglected the digital side of the industry.”, says Nu Jazz Agency Managing Director, Jerald Miller. “Not just in Europe, but in America as well. In an age were people in the Jazz industry have focused on a consistently dwindling and shrinking market – people need to be taught new ways to break out of the bad habits of only selling jazz music to jazz musicians. The greatest thing about the age we live in is that people may, for the first time relatively easily explore new musical forms and content in a easy and leisurely manner. Music that they would have otherwise had no opportunity to discover.”
The conversation will take place on April 24th, 2015 in Halle 6, Conference Room 2 of the Bremen Exhibition Center from 11:00 – 12:00 hrs.
