8Hunna was produced by 169, who has previously worked with Fraser T Smith, and was written by Headie One in a late night recording session. On hearing his verse and chorus, Dave jumped on the track.
The video features both Headie and Dave and was shot and directed by Nathan Tetty who created the video for the #1 smash hit Funky Friday.
Headie’s year has gone from strength to strength, culminating in his first UK headline tour in November. Reviewing the Manchester show, The Guardian gave it 4 stars ‘Headie shows that drill isn’t going to be suppressed’. He has also had great radio play in 2018 with A List additions at 1Xtra and Rinse FM with further support from Radio 1, Capital XTRA and Reprezent.
