In celebration of Black History Month, JAZZ ROOTS honors their legacy in this incredible tribute concert. Headlined by T.S. Monk, critically acclaimed drummer and son of icon Thelonious Monk, along with the Ernie Watts Quartet, featuring Coltranes’ celebrated protégé and Grammy-winning saxophonist, this evening of jazz will reach deep into the roots of jazz.
Adding to this amazing roster are the quintessential jazz vocalists Kevin Mahogany and Nnenna Freelon whose supreme musicianship and improvisatory skills will honor Monk & Coltrane’s essence with historic, groundbreaking jazz!
