All-Star Band Alice Unplugged To Celebrate 27th Anniversary Of Alice in Chains’ Iconic MTV Unplugged Album

The Group Features Paulie Z (ZO2, Z Rock, Sweet), Eric Bradley (Jerry Cantrell, Young Royals), Sam Koltun (Dorothy, LA Guns), Greg Coates (Dizzy Reed) and Kevin Kapler (Crazy Town) Performing The Record In Its Entirety 

Rock n’ roll’s A-list performers are banding together to pay tribute to one of the most legendary recordings of our time. Alice Unplugged, featuring Paulie Z (ZO2, Z Rock, Sweet), Eric Bradley (Jerry Cantrell, Young Royals), Sam Koltun (Dorothy, LA Guns), Greg Coates (Dizzy Reed) and Kevin Kapler (Crazy Town), will perform Alice in Chains’ pivotal MTV Unplugged album in its entirety on Sunday, July 30 at 7 PM at Lucky Strike Hollywood. 

During this special FREE show, Alice Unplugged will not only faithfully recreate the songs from the record but also play a few bonus tracks seldom heard live. Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged (1996) captured the band’s first concert in nearly two and half years and featured live, acoustic versions of the group’s biggest hits as well as lesser-known songs. A new song, “The Killer Is Me”, was performed for the first time during the concert and the acoustic version of “Over Now” (originally released on Alice in Chains’ 1995 self-titled album) was released as a single. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been certified platinum.

Opening the show is special guest Gabe Maska, who will be performing an all-acoustic Nirvana tribute.
