Eve has assembled a dynamic group steeped in tradition. A stunning work of art presenting songs from her repertoire starting with BIG CITY, a reminiscence of Cannoball Adderley’s stellar arrangement. It draws from a wide musical landscape of standards, Eve’s original, UP HERE IN THE CITY, [conjuring up Eve’s memories of living and loving her daily life in NYC], Dinah Washington’s LONG JOHN BLUES, and concluding with a smoky rendition of SO MANY STARS by Sergio Mendes.

One of her ALL-TIME favorite performances was touring all over the world with Roy Hargrove and Chucho Valdez.

One of her ALL-TIME favorite performances was touring all over the world with Roy Hargrove and Chucho Valdez on the Crisol Tour and particularly at Jazz in Marciac performing as a trio with Roy and Chucho in the Town square.

Eve, won the Jazz Composers Fellowship; was a ‘BET Jazz Vocal Discovery’ [served as a host of BET’s Jazzy Vocals’ TV show]; The Lionel Hampton Award; The Indie Award and The Russian Jazz Performance Award. Her vocalese rendition of Flamenco Sketches [Kinda Blue] is featured in the prestigious radio archives of the Smithsonian Institute.
