Coool CAT, an international weekly syndicated radio show, celebrates 5 years of broadcasting excellence during June. Founded by Ray White, managing director of Classic Artists Today, LLC, Coool CAT features “new” music from “classic” Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Smooth Jazz and Blues bands and performers.
As a follow up to his highly successful Classic Artists Today (CAT), weekly syndicated radio show, Coool CAT targets Urban AC, Smooth Jazz and Blues radio stations. “Our listeners typically fall in the range of college-age to Baby Boomers,” White states. Lisa Davis currently hosts the show following Jody Thornton, who kicked-off the show in the beginning. “Both Lisa and Jody have been awesome in delivering a unique show that blends genres in a way that is seldom found on radio today,” White added.
Coool CAT can be heard over 25 times a week on radio stations throughout the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Holland. Over 75 musicians have been guests on the show including: Verdine White (Earth, Wind & Fire), Al Jarreau, Dave Koz, Cyrus Neville, Airrion Love (The Stylistics), Walter Willians, Sr. (The O’Jays),Robert Cray and Boney James.
“During the rest of 2014, we’ll be concentrating on expanding our Coool CAT radio affiliates” stated White. Other weekly syndicated radio shows, that also feature “new” songs by “classic” bands and performers, include the flagship – Classic Artists Today and the recently launched Nashville CAT. Together all three shows reach all the popular music sectors including Rock, Pop, and Country.
