Coleridge Goode receives his award at the House of Commons

Hello…we’re proud and excited to be taking part in London Is The Place For Me – a weekend celebrating some of the seminal moments in black British music taking place at the Southbank Centre in July. Our Tomorrow’s Warriors Jazz Orchestra will be performing the music of Steve Williamson in the Purcell Room, while Gary Crosby and Tomorrow’s Warriors (together with the JazzCotech Dancers and Sheldon Skeete) are presenting Steppin’ Over – a free family event in the Clore Ballroom.

Also, our warmest congratulations to double bass legend Coleridge Goode for his long overdue Services To Jazz Award at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards. And if you’re anywhere near the Old Spitalfields Market this Friday, make it an early lunch and go see our Teenie and Junior Warriors play at a Youth Music Week 2010 Pop Up Performance.
