Dutch’s Basement Blues Band is a chart topping blues band in Pennsylvania. These ASCAP recording artists recorded their first CD in 2017 titled “In the Basement” on Uncle Wagon Records. The CD has eleven original songs a few of which have been number one songs on Reverbnation and continue to be aired on radio stations all over the US and abroad. Satchmo Scat has a catchy melody that sticks in people’s minds. Written as homage to Louis Armstrong this song uses scat verses and Dutch’s Armstrong-like voice in an effort to satisfy the many requests he receives constantly to sing Louis Armstrong songs. My Shoe’s Untied was penned by Matt Roman about a bad day he had. It is requested and aired so much that a re-mixed version became the B side of the newly released vinyl record on the independent Uncle Wagon Records label. Their new single “Our Country Song” is the title song of this 7” vinyl record which is selling surprisingly well locally and gaining international popularity as it makes its way to radio stations around the world.
